Ear Microsuction & Irrigation

Christine uses a combination of Microsuction and Irrigation for an effective removal of ear wax.  Irrigation is not suitable for everyone and will be assessed via the consultation form.

Microsuction is a safe, gentle method used to clean the ear.  During the procedure, a qualified Clinician uses an otoscope to assess and treat the ear.  A suction device is then used to remove wax, infection, debris and foreign bodies from the ear without using water.

Irrigation is a medical procedure used to remove excess earwax (cerumen) or foreign materials from the ear canal. This method is not used for ears that are infected or where the ear drum is perforated or missing.
