Naturopathy / Herbal medicine
Naturopathy
Naturopathy means 'nature cure' and can include any natural therapy that works to support the body's own life force in healing and bringing about a state of increased vitality.
In a consultation all aspects of a client's life (diet, lifestyle, family history etc) are considered, recommendations will be made based on these factors, and herbal medicines and other natural
remedies will be offered.
This is a therapeutic practice which can benefit everyone, from newborns to the elderly. It is always the person that is treated, not any specific health complaint, and so there is no restriction on
who can benefit from this therapy, no matter what health challenges a person might be meeting.
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage
This ancient Indian form of massage focuses on opening up the subtle channels (Nadis) to promote and enhance the flow of Prana (life force) throughout the body. This brings a state of balance,
harmony and connection, supporting restoration and healing on all levels.
It can be received both clothed or unclothed, and can include gentle assisted stretches, depending on the client's needs and/or wishes.
Mayan Abdominal Massage
This traditional massage practice focuses on the abdomen, the centre of life and the key to wellbeing and harmony with all of creation, according to ancient Mayan wisdom.
It is especially valuable to women, alleviating any female reproductive complaints, enhancing vitality and aiding connection to the seat of feminine power. It is also of great benefit to men, as it
also aligns and releases tension in the digestive system, alleviating any digestive complaints and can induce a more calm and balanced state of being.
